Revenue seizes cocaine worth €70,000 in Swords, Co. Dublin

Today (24/11/17), as part of a joint, intelligence-led operation involving Revenue, the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau and the Special Crime Task Force, Revenue officers seized 1kg of cocaine, worth an estimated €70,000, at an address in Swords, North County Dublin. A 24 year old Irish man was detained by Gardaí at the scene, under Section 2 of The Criminal Justice (Drugs Trafficking) Act 1996, and is currently held at Ballymun Garda Station. Investigations are continuing.
