Revenue seizes alcohol worth over €15,500 in Dublin Port
Today (23/03/17), Revenue officers seized almost 1,250 litres of undeclared alcohol when, acting on intelligence, they searched a container that arrived into Dublin Port from Portugal.
The smuggled alcohol, 1,084 litres of wine and 164 litres of beer, has a retail value of more than €15,500, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of more than €7,500.
