Revenue and Gardaí seize cannabis worth €100,000 in Lucan Co. Dublin

Today (21/02/17), as part of an intelligence-led, joint operation involving Revenue’s Customs Service, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, and the Ronanstown Divisional Drugs Unit, approximately 5kg of herbal cannabis, with an estimated street value of €100,000, was seized at an address in Lucan, Co. Dublin.

A 50 year-old female was arrested by Gardaí and detained at Lucan Garda Station under the provisions of section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.  Investigations are continuing with a view to prosecution.
