Revenue seizes wine worth €11,000 in Dublin Port
Yesterday (08/02/2017), Revenue officers at Dublin Port seized 786 litres of wine when, as a result of routine profiling, they stopped and searched a Transit van, which had arrived from France via Holyhead.
The smuggled red and white wines have a retail value of around €11,000 and represent an estimated potential loss to the Exchequer of €5,400.
Investigations are on-going.
