Revenue seizes cannabis worth €380,000 at Rosslare Europort
Today (25/04/2016), Revenue officers in Rosslare Europort, with the help of detector dog "Ralph", seized 62 kg of cannabis resin with a street value of €380,000. Following routine profiling, the drugs were discovered in the floor and boot area of a car that had disembarked a ferry from France.
A 40 year old Lithuanian man was arrested at the scene by An Garda Síochána and was brought to Wexford Garda Station for questioning.
Investigations are ongoing with a view to prosecution.
