Revenue seizes drugs worth €20,000 in Cork

Last Friday, the 19th February 2016, Revenue Officers and the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and carried out a joint intelligence led operation. Approximately 10,000 Alprazolam tablets were seized by Revenue and Gardaí arrested one male. He is currently detained at Anglesey St, Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996. Investigations are continuing.
