Revenue is the Irish tax and customs administration. Our mission is: 'To serve the community by fairly and efficiently collecting taxes and duties and implementing import and export controls'.
Revenue has a staff compliment of approximately 5,968. We deal with almost 3.5 million personal and business taxpayers and collect in the order of €48 billion a year in taxes and duties. We are also responsible for trade facilitation and frontier control. Our organisation is highly decentralised, with offices in all parts of the country.
